It's been quite a while since I last posted here. It feels amazing to start fresh this year with so many goals in mind! It's almost Engagement Season and I decided to share my thoughts in regards to the very popular 'first look' on your wedding day.
What is the first look? It's a moment when you see your soon to be spouse right before the ceremony in a private area within the premises of your wedding venue. It is strategically planned so that it is magically and perfectly captured from a few feet away so that you can enjoy that moment to yourselves.
After a few tear worthy minutes of seeing each other for the first time before the ceremony, we document the bridal session -bride and groom alone-, and then we go ahead and add some bridal party portraits as well. All this occurs, in most cases, before the guests have arrived. Meaning, that having a first look for your wedding day adds up about 2 more hours of photography coverage resulting in more beautiful imagery of your special day. The timeline and set up of the area is coordinated during the 2 weeks prior to the wedding.
Having a first look, although not traditional-like, has become very popular amongst couples and it's one of the most anticipated moments of the day of the wedding! I would love to share with you more information in regards to the first look. Contact me for more details!
