Boho Chic Style Portrait Session
Collaborations and Networking
I've always thought that networking with my peers is like fuel for my business; and for myself. Meeting new people within my industry, inspires me to grow creatively and it increases my possibilities for both personal and professional success. Collaborating with other creativepreneurs is like creating a visual board full of ideas and finally being able to fulfill them. It's a chance to see the new world in many different ways, an opportunity to learn from others and to create amazing relationships with other people who are making a difference, just like myself, in many different ways.
Lifestyle Bloggers...we are here to stay!
Although I usually blog about my work, and tips for photography lovers, I also like to blog about things that I love. Like Yoga, book reviews, my love for the sunsets, my favorite beaches in Florida, and even about pottery and the key to success! I guess that's why I named my blog Pieces of Me. Being a Lifestyle blogger is all about sharing what you love and influencing others, in your own special way. I met Glendaly thanks to a referral on Instagram (follow her at @gceestyle). We connected via email and I learned about her amazing fashion and lifestyle blog. Her natural beauty, point of view, and very detailed blog posts, is what instantly caught my eye. You should definitely check out her blog! She's also a model, who did independent modeling in New York, and just recently relocated to Sunny Florida. I was celebrating my excitement to collaborate with Glendaly, even before she had said yes!
This is a project that means a lot me, that I had in mind for quite some time, and which I feel happened in the most perfect way. I can't wait to work with Glendaly again, and hope to meet more amazing people to collaborate with in the future. If you're interested in a collaboration, contact me!
Mead Botanical Gardens in Winter Park
Out of all the places, It never occurred to me that I would find a peaceful, beautiful, botanical garden, right in Central Florida. I even saw an Owl for the first time in my life, right here at Mead Botanical Gardens. I mean, being a beach girl from the Caribbean, makes it very unusual to spot an Owl! Upon arrival to the Gardens I felt a bit skeptical. It felt as though the garden had been through mayor destruction. Plenty of areas were not as pretty, with many of trees on the ground, and others about to be torn down. But this is precisely what caught my attention. I decided to capture natural beauty and take advantage of the beautiful areas that were surrounded by this 'all so pretty destruction'. We had so much fun during this shoot, and the images came out quite amazing! Needless to say, It was a really hard task for me to pick 'just a few' for this post. I'm killing all the rules of blogging by giving you a post with so many images. But then again, why not?!
Enjoy, and as always, be inspired 💛
